Joel will be the graduate assistant at Evangel next year. He is pretty excited!! He is going back to school to get his master's in education so he can eventually teach and coach one day. I'm so proud of him. School was never his forte, but he is so motivated to get his master's. I know he will make an amazing teacher and coach!

Since it is the beginning of a new year, I guess I must have some new year's resolutions....
1. Get a JOB!
2. Help Joel get his master's degree.
3. Train for a half marathon.
4. Graduate from college!
5. Enjoy the lake more often!
I am sure the list will grow as the year progresses because that is me in a nutshell...a planner! This is year is going to be so incredible. I am going to be an aunt in March (hopefully Blair comes on my birthday). Another girl in the family is exactly what we need. Well that is it for now...
Since being married, I have learned a lot about myself. Living with someone and dating someone are two completely different things. Here are some things I have learned:- I can be a little stubborn at times.
- I am a complusive clean freak. (I never feel like our apt is clean enough)
- I love going to bed knowing someone is right next to me.
- I look forward to evenings when neither of us have anything to do.
- Marriage is the most rewarding/demanding thing I have ever done.
- I enjoy cooking, but hate thinking of things to cook for dinner.
- I find that love is something that is more about commitment than it is a feeling.
